The following guide will walk you through the process of creating campaigns and utilizing templates for a more streamlined and personalized email experience.

Creating a New Campaign

  1. Within your desired event or group navigate to the Campaigns tab
  2. Click the New Campaign button
  3. Select Draft or Campaign
    1. Draft: Edit and add recipients before sending. Most flexible option.
    2. Campaign: Quickly build a message and save it directly to Campaigns.
  4. Enter a campaign name
    1. This is only visible internally
  5. Choose your sender (learn more here)
  6. Enter a subject line
    1. This is the subject line recipients will see
  7. Use the three dots to
    1. View version history
    2. Set reply to email
    3. cc teammates or bcc teammates
    4. load a template
    5. attach a calendar file
    6. save your campaign as a campaign or global template
  8. Use the paper clip to attach a file
  9. Enter your message
  10. Customization options
    1. In the bottom right corner of the email window you can customize the style
      1. Basic: this means the email will be formatted as your regular email (looks like the ones you send from your inbox)
      2. Marketing: allows for more customization (background, center images, etc). This is commonly used for newsletters
    2. An easy way to add personalization to your emails is through mail merge. To utilize go to the bottom left corner of the email and select the + sign
      1. First & Last Name: easily open emails with the recipients name
      2. Custom Field: pull in custom information that you have saved to your contact profile
    3. Add Event Details
      1. Go to the + in the bottom left corner
      2. You have a number of options to help you pull in event details
        1. Date and Location: this will pull the date and location into your email
        2. RSVP Image: this will pull the RSVP image into your email
      3. RSVP Link: This will allow you to direct recipients to the registration page where their RSVPs will be collected
    4. Customize your font and layout by selecting the A
    5. Change the color of your text, foreground, or background by selecting the palette icon
    6. The image icon gives you the option to upload an image or paste a URL
    7. To add a hyperlink click the highlight the word/section you would like and press the link button
      1. If you would like it to appear as a button toggle that option on
    8. Add sections/dividers in your email by selecting the -
  11. Test Your Message
  12. Add Recipients
  13. Send!
