One of the greatest features in Gatsby is the ability to add/remove custom columns in your tabs. This can be so useful when looking at and sorting your contacts. Below you will see that Columns can be found in the Contact Dashboard under Add Contact.

Custom Fields

There are four types of custom fields in Gatsby. Each can be created by selecting the custom field or you can change any of them by clicking the drop-down arrow under Type.

  1. Text - Text is for simple text such as name, or title. Simply add your title and description (optional) as shown below and click Create Column.

  2. Number - Number is for any numbered items you may want, such as budget or cost. There is also a percentage option. The format can be expanded with the drop-down arrow to include different currencies (see second picture below). Note that # Number is the default. You can also set you decimal place, as shown and it will show a preview.

  3. Single Select - single select is used when you have a list of items, and you want your contact or guest to select only one answer. Did you know that you can change the color of the circle by clicking the drop-down?

  4. Multi Select - when you want contact or guests to answer more than one question.
