How does it work?

Gatsby will sync guest RSVP and attendance information seamlessly with your Affinity. Specify a list or a global Affinity Field and Gatsby will take care of the rest.

Viewing Event Data in Affinity

You will find three Fields in the specific list or global scope, depending on if you configured a specific list.

📌 Field names will be subject to your Affinity field mapping selection (see How To above)

RSVP

This Field will be populated with each event a guest RSVP’d Yes (Accepted).

Attendance

This Field will be populated with each event a guest was checked in to.

Guest List

This Field will be populated with each event a guest was on the Guest List for, regardless of attendance or RSVP status.

When does Gatsby data synchronize to Affinity?

Gatsby will automatically write this information into Affinity anytime a guest RSVPs, checks in or is added to a guest list. You should see the changes reflected nearly instantly.

Can I change which Affinity Fields Gatsby writes to?

Yes at anytime, you can point Gatsby to the Fields of your choice. Just be sure that for List-specific Fields, that you select all the Fields in that same List. The behavior is undefined for writing RSVP status to one List-specific Field and Check-In status to another List-specific field.

Old data is not moved to the new field when you change fields. Only new data created since switching fields will be written into that new field. Your old field will still exist in Affinity.
